You can often go to the dealership where you bought you vehicle to have them install the vehicle wheelchair lift for you. If your van or vehicle isn't that new, you should still be able to go to a dealer of that particular type of vehicle to get one installed. If those fail, there are many companies that deal with vehicle wheelchair lifts and they ought to know someone who can install it for you if they don't do it themselves. The reason you should go to a dealership, however, is that they're more likely to know how to work on your type of car because when you get a vehicle wheelchair lift put in, you are essentially modifying your car.
The width of the seat should fit you without squeezing, and the depth should be enough so that your back rests against the back of the chair and the back of your knees are away from its edge. There is nothing more annoying than sitting with the front of the chair chaffing the back of your legs. The back should be tiltable, but at the least should be straight up and not permanently tilted.
To keep your neck from straining, your view of your screen should be at the lower half of your viewing angle. Your forearms should also be parallel to the ground while you type on your keyboard. This is the most relaxed and natural position for your arms to be in while typing. You may be able to adjust your chair up to a certain point, or even to the height you can comfortably view your computer display and keep your arms on the correct position, but what about your legs and feet? Are your feet able to stay flat on the ground and keep your legs from dangling?
